About Me
Hello! My name is Caitlin Simpson, and I am a senior double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and History at the University of Central Florida. I will be graduating in May 2023 and seeking opportunities for producing and writing digital media content.
As a student journalist, I currently serve as the News Director for UCF Knightly News. I also contribute as a producer, on-air talent, and reporter. For UCF's online publication, NSM Today, I cover a wide range of topics that affect the UCF community. I also serve as Vice President of the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) chapter here at UCF and the Secretary for UCF's National Communication Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. I am also an editor for Her Campus at UCF, which is a women-led publication. I have completed internships at FOX 35 Orlando as a Digital Producer Intern and at WKMG News 6 as a Producer Intern.
I have been on the Dean's List since my enrollment in 2019 and several semesters on the Director's Honor Roll. I am also a Bright Futures Medallion Scholar.
